Introducing something new to your ops team is complicated
– whether it’s a new piece of tech, a strategic directive or a complete business overhaul, there’s a lot to think about to ensure success.

There are many change and project management frameworks, methodologies and techniques out there - which we love and useas part of our project toolkit.

But a change initiative is only as successful as its implementation. There was nothing existing that set out clear steps for, practically, getting your ops teams ready and supporting them post live.

Lets face it, all the frameworks in the world won’t help if you have to reinvent the wheel every time you start (& don’t get us started on so called experts reusing old project plans)...

So we created SP.ACE.

Our straight-forward, stage-based framework, used for implementing and imbedding change with Ops teams.

Helping you...

Increase
delivery speed

Achieve
consistent results

Save Money
(right first time)

Enhance engagement

Reduce
project risk

Implement good change practice

Ready to explore SP.ACE?

It starts with the fundamentals of a change programme. In four repeatable stages:

  1. Starting with Strategy & Planning

  2. Leading into Analysis

  3. Delivering the Change

  4. Ending with an Evaluation

Perfect for delivering iterative improvements, phased roll outs or big bang project plans.

SP.ACE Diagram. SP has arrows going to Analyse and Change. Analyse has an arrow going to Change. Change has an arrows going to Strategy & Planning and Evaluate. Evaluate has an arrow going to Strategy and Planning
The SP.ACE Frame work has 8 flexible stages. SP has Stratgise (with Project Charter, Impact Assessment and User Research within Strategise) and Plan (with Project Delivery Tracker and RAAIDO within Plan). Analyse has Situation (with Current State and Future State within Situation) and Services (with Customer Service Principles and Vendor Selection within Services). Change has Design (with Holistic Solution Design and Performance Metrics within Design) and Deliver (with Operational Readiness and Lauch Readiness within Deliver). Evaluate has Imbed (with Early Life Support Management and Project Handover within Imbed) and Learn (with Lessons Learned and Continuous Improvement Ops within Learn).

Underpinned by 8 flexible stages:

  1. Strategise

  2. Plan

  3. Situation

  4. Services

  5. Design

  6. Deliver

  7. Imbed

  8. Learn

Designed to be the building blocks to your change project. Change is fluid, so these stages aren’t always sequential.

With a whole lot of supporting activity:

Review as you go - do only what you need to but never forget anything important or experience a mad-dash at the end of the project.

And, keep your team and collaborators engaged throughout, while delivering real value early & often.
